Historic Jonesborough will participate with the sale on Saturday, May 15 from 9am – 3 pm.
Booth proceeds go to Historic Jonesborough’s St. Nick Nights Toy Drive. During the holiday season the funds are used to provide gifts for children in need. Come to the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center, 117 Boone Street, to reserve your booth for only $15 for a 10x10 space. Limited spaces are available and there are no space guarantees. For more information on this event or other events log onto historicjonesborough.com or us11antiquealley.com. Downtown shops will also be participating with street sales and great deals.
Bill Marshall with the US 11 Antique Alley and Yard Sale says, “There are three reasons this year will be the best: Fuel is half the price as last year, with the slow economy more people are going to find more items to sell to raise funds, and again with the economy people will be buying bargains on the Alley rather than paying retail price. It is also an enjoyable trip for the shoppers on the scenic highway of the south. It is paralleled a reasonable distance from an Interstate all the way to prevent traffic jams. Hope to see you on the trail.”
